Research into recovery from problem gambling

11 March 2010

Lyle Christine, a post-graduate researcher at the University of Glasgow, is carrying out a short piece of qualitative research towards his doctoral thesis on the process of recovery from problem gambling.

The research is funded by the Responsible Gambling Fund (http://www.rgfund.org.uk/). Lyle would like to interview individuals who are receiving support in relation to compulsive or addictive gambling habits in order to understand the circumstances which encourage their road to recovery.

He has devised a questionnaire which takes less than 30 mins to complete. Download the questionnaire (Word doc).

It can be sent by e-mail, in the post or completed over the ‘phone.  All information is anonymised and the confidentiality of all participants shall be strictly preserved. Lyle would appreciate and value your help with this project.

Lyle Christine can be contacted by e-mail at l.christine.1@research.gla.ac.uk
