Online support
GamCare provides a range of online support services, from our confidential NetLine, through to peer-to-peer services including our Forum and Chat/Support room.
The NetLine allows you to talk live online to one of our trained Advisors who can offer counselling support, information and advice. The NetLine is currently available only to those within the UK, between 8am and midnight Monday-Friday (Saturday & Sunday 4pm-midnight) whilst all other online services are available without restriction, to anyone affected by a gambling problem.
The Forum and Chat/Support room are moderated areas where you can discuss, ask questions and offer advice. GamCare Advisors frequently visit the Forum and moderate each Chat session to answer questions and give advice and ensure a safe environment.
The Forum is available 24/7 and the Chat/Support room is open during the following (UK) times:
Monday 2-3 & 8-9pm Tuesday 2-3pm Wednesday 4-5pm Thursday 8-9pm Friday 2-3 & 8-9pm Sunday 8-9pm
Look out for extra hours on staff chatroom posts within the 'overcoming problem gambling' space of the forum.
