Blocking software
Blocking software is a type of computer programme or app that stops you looking at specific websites or services. Many people tell us blocking software is a useful tool if they find it hard to control their gambling. There are a range of products available, including:
- Gamban
- Gamblock
- BetBlocker
- Netnanny (general blocking software)
Some of these are free, some might ask you to pay.

Bank gambling blocks
Some banks will allow you to block debit card transactions to gambling merchants. You can find out more about how these work for UK bank accounts on the GamCare website, but please note that not all banks currently offer the same functionality to Jersey customers.
