Responsible Gambling Week 2017 – Information Points
Responsible Gambling Week is designed to get people talking about what it means to gamble responsibly. Find out more about Information Points near you and other activities scheduled during the week.
Responsible Gambling Week runs from Thursday 12th – Wednesday 18th October and is designed to get people talking about what it means to gamble responsibly, focusing on the tools that are available to keep gambling fun and how players across all types of gambling can ensure that gambling stays safe.
Activities during the week include:
- Information Points are available around the country throughout the week, supported by GamCare, giving you more information on how to gamble responsibly, the tools that can help players stay safe and how to access further information, help and support if needed.
- For those who can’t make it to an Information Point, online chatrooms for your questions about responsible gambling are available via the GambleAware website.
- A live Twitter Q&A with experts from across the gambling industry will run on Monday 16th October. Tweet your questions about responsible gambling to @RGWeek2017 with #RGWLive and the team will answer as many questions as possible between 12pm – 1pm on the day.
Information Points are designed to give you a chance to talk to someone in person about what responsible gambling means and can be found in public spaces across major cities.
