GambleAware Clarifies it has no Affiliation with Gambleaware.ie
GambleAware has issued a statement in response to reports today that the GambleAware.ie helpline is not taking calls.
GambleAware responded to the reports in the Irish Times today:
“We are in no way affiliated with GambleAware.ie. The GB-wide National Gambling Helpline funded by GambleAware and delivered by GamCare is working. Trained advisers are available every day for anyone who is worried about their own gambling habits, or those of a friend or family member.
We would like to reassure anyone concerned about gambling-related harm that free help and advice is available at BeGambleAware.org, or by calling the National Gambling Helpline on 0808 8020 133.”
