GamCare Launches New Face to Face Service in Lincoln
GamCare is launching a new face to face treatment service for gamblers and their loved ones in Lincoln, to serve the city and surrounding area. The service will be officially launched in Lincoln in January by The Right Worshipful Mayor of Lincoln, Councillor Sue Burke, at an event at the Lincoln Hotel.
This new service will expand GamCare’s face to face support offer, which is complemented by our online and telephone services for gamblers and others affected by gambling.
Candice Donn, Head of Clinical Services at GamCare, says: “We’re very excited to be launching this new service in Lincoln. Reaching out for support can be the hardest step for many who are struggling with their relationship with gambling, but GamCare aims to make it as easy as possible to find the right help at the right time.
By offering more local services like these in Lincoln, we will be able to support communities better and make meaningful connections with other local services to ensure they can refer seamlessly into our services.”
If you are experiencing gambling-related harms and need support, or know someone else who does, the new service is already up and running and is taking referrals via 01522 274880 or [email protected].
